DEVON SAVIGNAC COMMITS TO CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY WISCONSIN

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2003-born forward Devon Savignac has committed to Concordia University Wisconsin for the 2024-2025 season.

The 20-year-old, Sudbury, Ontario native was acquired by the Navan Grads in a mid-season trade with the Kemptville 73’s (CCHL) during the 2022-2023 season. Savignac made an immediate impact with the Navan Grads and was named an assistant captain for the 2023-2024 season. In his final season of junior eligibility, Savignac has registered 31 goals, 31 assists and 62 points in 48 games played; the veteran forward set a Navan Grads all-time record with a 23-game consecutive point scoring streak (Nov. 17.23 to Feb. 13/24) when he recorded 24 goals, 25 assists and 49 points. Savignac was selected to represent the CCHL at the 2023 Eastern Canada Cup Challenge in December and was selected to play for team Yzerman at the 2024 CCHL All Star game in January.

General Manager & Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “Announcing Devon’s NCAA commitment is a proud moment for our program. He has worked extremely hard to develop his game and is more than read to make the jump to college hockey. The entire Grads organization wish him continued success moving forward.
