The Grads struggled against the Braves 7-1 in home game

The Navan Grads struggled against the Brockville Braves allowing Philippe Gilmour to score a hat trick as Navan crushed Brockville 7-1 in a home game at Brockville Memorial Centre in Navan. What's more, Seth Carter came up big, stopping 7 of 11 shots throughout the game. The Brockville Braves took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Eric Holland and never looked back.

Eric Holland had a busy night with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Nicholas Hawkins contributed with 2 assists.

In the first period, Gilmour opened the scoring for the Braves with a goal at 4:54 with helpers from his linemates, Hawkins and Holland. Holland netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:21. Gilmour deposited a goal at 12:41 with helpers from Hawkins and Jarvis. Allaire quickly followed with a goal at 14:11 with an assist from fellow Braves forward Walker.

During the second period, Jefferson put in a goal at 13:40 with an assist from his teammate Faith. Gilmour scored a goal at 17:44. Holland quickly followed with a goal at 19:04 with helpers from Mack and Hill.

In the third, Estrada finally put the Grads on the board with a goal at 10:32 with assists from Matton and Besner ‘a’.

This loss brings the Navan Grads’ record to (3-7-0-0).
