The Grads crushed the Bears 4-1

Seth Carter came up big, stopping 34 of 35 shots throughout the game. The Navan Grads took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Alexandre Way 'a'.

Alexandre Way ‘a’delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Keenan Reynolds had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first, Besner ‘a’opened the scoring for Navan with a goal at 19:45 with a helper from his teammate Reynolds.

In the second period, Way ‘a’netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:03 with helpers from his linemates, Fabbro and Reynolds. Fabbro deposited a goal at 12:00 with assists from Way ‘a’ and Besner ‘a’.

In the third, Bygrave finally put Smiths Falls on the board with a goal at 3:48 with helpers from Coltart and Shannon. Reynolds answered for Navan with a goal at 6:37 with assists from Raby ‘a’ and Way ‘a’.

The Grads’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Carter’s big night as he stopped 34 of the 35 shots he faced. On the other hand, Carter’s counterpart, Renaud, and the Bears’ defense had to remove a few pucks out of the back of his net allowing 4 goals in 26 shots.

This victory brings the Navan Grads’ record to (3-6-0-0).
