The Grads defeat the Junior Senators 3-2

Seth Carter came up big, stopping 38 of 40 shots throughout the game. The Navan Grads took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Curtis Fabbro.

In the first period, Cole opened the scoring for Ottawa with a goal at 3:54 with assists from teammates Renzi and Bisson. Lycan answered for Navan with a goal at 16:26 with helpers from his linemates, Moise and Arcan.

During the second, Walsh answered for the Junior Senators with a goal at 2:17 with assists from Battochio and Pion. Losev answered for the Grads with a goal at 11:38 with a helper from Searles.

In the third, Fabbro netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:10 with an assist from defenseman Denis.

Navan’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Carter’s big night as he stopped 38 of the 40 shots he faced. On the other hand, Carter’s counterpart, Ward, and the Junior Senators’ defense did not have such a great night allowing 3 goals in 21 shots.

This victory brings the Navan Grads’ record to (3-9-0-1).
