SAVIGNAC SCORES OT WINNER IN GAME #1 OF THE BOGART CUP FINALS
Ottawa, ON – On Friday evening, the Navan Grads won their first game in the final round against the Smiths Falls Bears for the Bogart Cup.

Quinn Booth of Smiths Falls struck first in the opening period, matched swiftly by Gabriel Crete of Navan. Booth regained the lead for Smiths Falls in the second period, setting the stage for a tight battle. In the third period, Navan’s Noah Carpenter tied the game, pushing both teams into overtime. The tension peaked in overtime when Devon Savignac of Navan secured the victory, clinching a thrilling 3-2 win. Goaltenders Dawson Labre of Smiths Falls and Jaeden Nelson of Navan showcased stellar performances, with Labre making an impressive 44 saves and Nelson stopping 35 shots
