Ottawa, ON – On Sunday afternoon two semi final games took place in the Central Canada Hockey League. The Navan Grads won against the Rockland Nationals 1-0. The Smiths Falls Bears won against the Cornwall Colts 6-1. The finals of the Bogart Cup will be the Navan Grads versus the Smiths Falls Bears.

The first and second periods saw both teams locked in a stalemate, with neither able to find the back of the net. However, in the decisive third period, Navan’s Cristobal Tola broke the deadlock with a crucial goal. Despite a valiant effort from Rockland’s goaltender Benoit Forget, who made an impressive 27 saves, Navan’s Jaeden Nelson stood tall between the pipes, turning away 34 shots to secure the win.
