CRISTOBAL TOLA COMMITS TO AMHERST COLLEGE

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2004-born forward Cristobal Tola has committed to Amherst College for the 2024-2025 season.

The 19-year-old, Georgetown, Ontario native signed with the Navan Grads during the off-season after spending the previous two seasons at Trinity-Pawling School in the New England Prep School Hockey League.

Tola has made an immediate impact in his first season with the Navan Grads registering 10 goals, 21 assists and 31 points in 35 games played. Tola was selected to represent the CCHL at the 2023 Eastern Canada Cup Challenge in December and has been selected to play for Team Yzerman at the 2023-2024 CCHL All Star game.

General Manager & Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “Our program is pleased to announce this commitment. Cristobal has made an immediate impact both on and off the ice this season and we wish him nothing but the best at Amherst College.”

Amherst College is a prestigious liberal arts college located in Amherst, Massachusetts. The Amherst College Mammoths compete in the NCAA Division III New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) under head coach Jack Arena.
