NEWS RELEASE | GRADS GOALTENDER JAEDEN NELSON SIGNS WITH THE OTTAWA 67’S

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2007-born goaltender Jaeden Nelson has signed an Ontario Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Ottawa 67’s.

The Ottawa, Ontario native was selected in the fourth round, 63^rd overall by the Ottawa 67’s in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection Draft. Nelson, 16-years-old signed with the Navan Grads (CCHL) prior to the 2023-2024 season and had an immediate impact between the pipes for the Grads; posting an 8-3-2-0 record, with a 2.61 goals-against average, and 0.917 save percentage.

General Manager & Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “It’s great to see Jaeden achieve his goal to sign with the 67’s. He has worked extremely hard this season and our entire program is proud and excited for him.”
