CCHL Releases 2023/24 Season Schedule

Navan, ON – The Central Canadian Hockey League released its upcoming schedule for the 2023/24 season at 12 o’clock sharp on Friday, and it sees every CCHL team playing 55 games on the campaign. Each team will face each other 5 times this season in an attempt to win the Bogart Cup.

Navan will open the 2023/24 season at home on the 17th of September, as the Grads will take on the Cornwall Colts in an afternoon showdown at the Memorial Centre.

Speaking of at home, the Grads’ home games this upcoming season will be Sunday afternoons at the Navan Memorial Centre. The Grads will however play 3 Friday night home games this season, with puck drops scheduled for 7:30.

The CCHL Showcase will also make a return this season. Scheduled for the early week of October 8th, the Showcase will see Navan play 3 games in 3 days, taking on the Nepean Raiders and Carleton Place Canadians at the Bell Sensplex on October 8th and 9th. Navan will also play a 1:30 pm game against the Pembroke Lumber Kings at the Richcraft Sensplex on the 10th.

The Grads come into this season hungry and looking for redemption as they were knocked out of the Bogart Cup playoffs last season in the first round by the Brockville Braves, after sitting near the top of the CCHL standings for the majority of the Season.

Navan will look to get back into the swing of things soon, with training camp scheduled to begin on the 26th of August. Navan will also play 4 exhibition games against the Cornwall Colts and Ottawa Junior Senators in the early parts of September.

You can watch all the action this season on Hockey TV, or listen in to the Navan Grads’ official radio network gradsradio.mixlr.com. For more information, please visit the Grads’ official website at www.navangrads.com.
