GRADS SIGN COLTON CHIPMAN FROM RIDLEY COLLEGE

NAVAN, ON – The Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce the signing of 2003 born forward Colton Chipman from Ridley College and El Paso Rhinos (NA3HL).

The Niagara Falls, Ontario native is a graduate of the Ridley College hockey program. Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, Chipman was a member of the El Paso Rhinos (NA3HL) in 2020-2021 and registered 8 goals, 5 assists & 13 points in 24 games played south of the border. In 2019-2020 in his first campaign at Ridley College, Chipman had 7 goals, 6 assists & 13 points in 28 games played for the Tigers.

General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “Colton is a player we have talked to the past few seasons and we are excited to have him and his family join our program. Coach McCourt and his staff have done a remarkable job preparing him both on and off the ice for both junior and college hockey. In addition to bringing a complete 200-foot game to the table, Colton is an excellent student-97%, is a great teammate with tremendous character. We look forward to working with him this September."
