Ottawa, ON – Sunday kicked off the first day of three of our Fall Showcase 2023. On day one; Kemptville, Smiths Falls, Cornwall, Rockland, Carleton Place and Navan get the first wins under their belt. Day two happens tomorrow.

Navan skated to a commanding 5-1 victory over Nepean. The first period saw no scoring, but it was the second period where Navan’s offense exploded. Colin Holmes, Noah Carpenter, Nathan Hargest, and Cristobal Told all found the back of the net, leaving Nepean struggling to keep up.
The third period continued to favor Navan, with Colin MacDougall adding to their lead, while Marty Magaletta managed to get one back for Nepean.
Nepean’s goaltender, John Gedraitis, put on a valiant performance, making an impressive 43 saves to keep his team in the game. On the other side, Navan’s Nikolas Trakakis started strong, making one save, and Jaeden Nelson came in later to secure the win with 18 saves.
Navan’s well-distributed scoring and solid goaltending were the difference-makers in this game, leading to a decisive 5-1 victory over Nepean.
