Registration Is Open for the 2026 Steve Barban Memorial Golf Tournament
Monday, September 21, 2026 — The Meadows Golf & Country Club
The Navan Grads family is proud to support the 2026 Steve Barban Memorial Golf Tournament, held in memory of a man who gave nearly two decades of his life to this club and to junior hockey in Canada.
Steve owned the Navan Grads and poured himself into the organization — team operations, quietly supporting players behind the scenes, and often just throwing the puck around at practice. He also served as Chairman of the Central Canada Hockey League and sat on the Canadian Junior Hockey League Board of Governors. Anyone who spent time around the rink knows the kind of person he was: soft-spoken, generous, and endlessly supportive of young athletes. This tournament is a chance to celebrate that.
Spots are still available, but the tournament is now days away — please register as soon as you can.
Golf & Dinner
$700 per foursome / $175 per individual, which includes:
- One round of golf with a cart
- A registration gift
- Buffet dinner
On the course, longest drive and closest to the pin are included with your registration. Two optional contests are available for $20 each: a $10,000 hole-in-one and a putting contest.
Dinner Only
Not a golfer? Come for the evening. $75 per person for the buffet dinner. Dinner-only spaces are limited and depend on the number of registered golfers, so don’t wait on this one.
During Dinner
There will be a silent auction and 50/50 draw tickets available, so bring a little extra.
