USPORTS COMMITMENT ALERT: Alex Robert commits to Queen’s University

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Navan Grads are pleased to announce that forward Alex Robert has committed to U Sports Queens University for the 2020-21 season.

The 1999 born Orleans, ON native recently completed his fourth season of CCHL action, and second with the Grads where he finished second in team scoring with 62 points (22G, 40A) in 61 games of action. During his four-year career, the two-way forward totaled 138 points (63G, 75A) in 183 combined regular season and playoff games between the Grads and Rockland Nationals organization.

“Alex has been a leader for us since the day he arrived in Navan,” said Grads Head Coach Marty Abrams. “We are extremely proud that Alex decided to join a program with the caliber of Queens University under Coach Brett Gibson. We cannot thank Alex enough for his contributions to our program and wish him all the best at Queens.”

Robert becomes the eighth member of the Grads to make a college commitment this season, joining teammates Andrew Gunlock (Tufts University), Alex Wisco (Amherst College), Quinton Fox (Amherst College), Alex Aslanidis (Western Michigan University), Tristan Francis (Oswego State University), and Jackson Arcan (Oswego State University who will all make the jump this fall, as well as Gabriel Crete who committed to Colgate University for 2022-23.
