The Grads struggled against the Lasers 7-1 in home game

Lukash Matthews had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Felix Tourigny delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Nocita opened the scoring for Kanata with a goal at 4:40 with helpers from his teammates Markhauser and Poeze.

During the second, Van Tiem put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 6:14. Fabbro finally put Navan on the board with a goal at 11:38 with helpers from his linemates, Murray and Way ‘a’. Michel answered for the Lasers with a goal at 16:43 with assists from Austin and Denomme. Sleeth quickly followed with a goal at 17:47 with assists from his linemates, Smith and Van Tiem.

In the third period, Ludwig deposited a goal at 5:36 with helpers from Case and Austin. Matthews put in a goal at 11:47 with helpers from Larsen and Tourigny. Tourigny scored a goal at 14:01 with an assist from defenseman Matthews.
