The Grads struggled against the 73's 5-1 in home game

The Navan Grads' defense had a poor night, allowing the Kemptville 73's 42 shots throughout the game. The Kemptville 73's took the lead late in the first on a goal from Jacob Thousand and never looked back.

Alec Taillon did his part, adding 2 goals and Jacob Thousand delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first period, Taillon opened the scoring for the 73’s with a goal at 14:58 with helpers from his linemates, Beaton and Thousand. Thousand netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:54 with assists from his teammates Beaton and Figueira.

In the second, Samanski “a” put in a goal at 2:30 with helpers from his linemates, Conley and Mcgrath. Fry deposited a goal at 7:38 with assists from Hunter “a” and Kirkby “c”.

In the third period, Reynolds finally put the Grads on the board with a goal at 9:15 with helpers from Matton and Way ‘a’. Taillon answered for the 73’s with a goal at 19:52 with assists from Cote’ and Figueira.

This loss brings the Navan Grads’ record to (5-13-0-0).
