Seth Carter posted a shutout, stopping all 20 of the Smiths Falls Bears shots throughout the game. The Navan Grads took the lead early in the second on a goal from Brendan Brazeau.
Curtis Fabbro had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists.
In the second period, Brazeau opened the scoring for Navan with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 2:51 with helpers from his teammates Fabbro and Denis.
During the third, Arcan netted a goal at 10:42 with assists from his linemates, Moise and Fabbro. Murray scored a goal at 17:34 with a helper from fellow Grads forward Way ‘a’.
Navan’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Carter’s shutout, as he stopped all 20 of the shots he faced. Carter’s counterpart, Dobson, also had a big night, managing to stop 33 of 35, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Navan Grads’ record to (2-5-0-1).
