The Grads fall to the Lumber Kings 7-5

Sean Dynan came up big, stopping 8 of 10 shots throughout the game. The Pembroke Lumber Kings took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Brendan Browne.

Brendan Brazeau did his part, adding 2 goals and Calvin Moise contributed with 2 goals. Brendan Dempsey chipped in with 2 goals and Jacob Collins delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Dempsey opened the scoring for Pembroke with a goal at 2:11 with helpers from his linemates, White and Weber. Douglas netted a goal at 6:36 with assists from Maika and Weber. Egan deposited a goal at 12:17 with helpers from teammates Grose and Pudrycki.

In the second period, Searles finally put Navan on the board with a goal at 0:19 with assists from his linemates, Way ‘a’ and Murray. Moise scored a goal at 7:27 with helpers from Hoffman and Arcan. Maika quickly followed with a goal at 9:12 with assists from White and Neault. Brazeau answered for the Grads with a goal at 16:40.

In the third, Brazeau put in a goal at 2:28 with helpers from Lachaine and Lyewski. Collins answered for Pembroke with a goal at 4:46 with assists from his linemates, Arseneau and Browne. Browne netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:32 with helpers from his linemates, Collins and Warnholtz. Dempsey quickly followed with a goal at 12:11 with assists from his linemates, Mcintyre and Maika. Moise answered for Navan with a goal at 19:19 with a helper from fellow Grads forward Arcan.

This loss brings the Navan Grads’ record to (1-5-0-1).
