Seth Carter came up big, stopping 27 of 30 shots throughout the game. The Kanata Lasers took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Cameron Sinclair.
Michael Locatelli chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Jj Boucher had a busy night with 2 goals.
During the first, Boucher opened the scoring for Kanata with a goal at 12:52 with helpers from teammates Noonan and Beaudry.
In the second, Boucher put in a goal at 1:06 with an assist from Schroeder. Locatelli finally put Navan on the board with a goal at 4:21 with helpers from Besner and Salloum. Reynolds deposited a goal at 10:29 with assists from his linemates, Locatelli and Estrada.
In the third period, Sinclair answered for the Lasers with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:41 with helpers from Markhauser and Sleeth.
This loss brings the Navan Grads’ record to (0-2-0-0).
