Alexandre Way ‘a’chipped in with 2 goals and Wil Murray had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 assists.
During the first, Silenu opened the scoring for Nepean with a goal at 1:45 with helpers from Dempster and Edwards. Peck answered for the Grads with a goal at 13:42.
In the second, Way ‘a’deposited a goal at 3:37 with assists from teammates Murray and Lyewski. Daher answered for the Raiders with a goal at 10:17 with helpers from Poole-Fournier and Orban. Way ‘a’answered for Navan with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 19:45 with assists from Burns and Murray.
The Grads’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Carter’s big night as he stopped 32 of the 34 shots he faced. Carter’s counterpart, Bateman, also had a big night, managing to stop 21 of 23, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Navan Grads’ record to (2-0-0-0).
