RELEASE | GRADS NATHAN VILLENEUVE NAMED HEO U18 AAA TOP PROSPECT
OTTAWA, ON – HEO U18 AAA is pleased to announce that Navan Grads forward Nathan Villeneuve has been voted as the 2021-22 Top Prospect Award recipient.
The 2006 born Orleans, ON native totaled 67 points (26G, 41A) in 30 games of action this season. He posted 21 multi-point contests and was held without a point just twice, both coming in the first month of the season.
The Ottawa Jr 67’s AAA and Gloucester Rangers AA product has an endless list of strengths to his game, including elite acceleration, high-end speed, physicality, shot release & accuracy, hockey IQ, and the ability to play a strong two-way game. These attributes are just part of his repertoire that have Ontario Hockey League scouts excited.
He is expected to be a very early draft pick at the upcoming OHL Priority Selection next month.
