Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the month for January.
Sebbie Johnson from Navan Grads is Skater of the Month, while Benoit Forget from Rockland Nationals earned Goaltender of the Month, Noah Paddock from Ottawa Jr Senators received Rookie of the Month.
Skater of the Month | Sebbie Johnson
The 2004 born Montreal, QC native is in his second season in the CCHL and has emerged as one to watch in the league, ranking first overall in points, and top 3 for goals and assists. His high skill annd hockey IQ is entertaining to watch every night. In January Johnson had 19 points in 8 games (9G, 10A)
Goaltender of the Month | Benoit Forget
The 2004 born L’Ange Gardien, QC native is in his third season in the CCHL and has been solid in the net all season, leading the Nats to be first to clinch a spot in playoffs and consistently ranking in the CJHL Top 20. In January, Forget put up note worthy numbers with 2 shutouts, 7 wins in 7 games, a 0.929 save % and 1.98 GAA. He currently first for wins and goals against average, and second in the league for save percentage.
Rookie of the Month | Noah Paddock
The 2007 born Ottawa, ON native currently sits in the top 3 for save percentage out of all goalies in the league. In January, Paddock had 1 shut out, 4 wins in 5 games, a 0.957 save % and a 1.44 GAA, numbers which rival any goaltender.
