OWEN PARSONS COMMITS TO COLLEGE OF THE HOLY CROSS

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League are proud to announce that 2003 forward Owen Parsons has committed to College of the Holy Cross and the Holy Cross Crusaders NCAA Men’s Division I Men’s Hockey program.

Parsons, a native of Waterloo, Ontario was recruited and signed by the Navan Grads prior to the 2021-2022 season. He made a seamless transition to the Central Canada Hockey League in his first season with the Grads by registering 22 goals, 18 assists and 40-points in 52 games played. This season, Parsons has taken his game to the next level and in 19 games played, he has recorded 13 goals, 15 assists and 28 points; as well as being named Week #1 and Week #4 CCHL CCM Player of the Week and the Gongshow CCHL 1st Star of the Month for September/October 2022.

General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams said, Owen has had a tremendous start to this season after a strong first year with our program. He has put in the work and time during the off-season and the results speak for themselves. I have no doubt that his development will continue at the NCAA level while at Holy Cross. Our program is extremely proud of Owen and look forward to following his path in years to come.”
