TIO D’ADDARIO COMMITS TO PLATTSBURGH STATE UNIVERSITY

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2002-born forward Tio D’Addario has committed to attend and play for Plattsburgh State University for the 2023-2024 season.

The Montreal, QC product played his final year of junior hockey in Navan and was 1st in team scoring during the 2022-2023 campaign with 66 points (22G, 44A) in 55 games. Overall, D’Addario ranked 7th in CCHL league scoring and 3rd overall in assists.

General Manager & Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “We are excited and proud to announce Tio’s commitment to Plattsburgh State. This past season, he was the model of consistency, and I am confident that he will continue to succeed at the next level. A pleasure to coach, Tio has a bright future, and we look forward to watching it unfold.”

An alumnus of the Mount Academy Saints U18 program, D’Addario spent parts of two seasons with the Surrey Eagles of the BCHL before landing in Camrose where he put up 11 points (5G, 6A) in 18 games with the Kodiaks during the 2021-2022 season. During the off-season, he was acquired by the Navan Grads.

Located in Plattsburgh, NY, the Cardinals compete in the NCAA Division III State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) under head coach Steve Moffat.
