DIEGO D’ALESSANDRO COMMITS TO KING’S COLLEGE

Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2002-born goaltender Diego D’Alessandro has committed to attend and play for King’s College for the 2023-2024 season.

The Caledon, ON product played his final year of junior hockey in Navan during the 2022-2023 campaign; D’Alessandro recorded a 4-2-1 record, 3.53 goals against average and a .892% save percentage in 10 appearances during the regular season.

General Manager & Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “We are thrilled to announce this most recent commitment from our 2022-23 roster. Diego has a tremendous work ethic, is an excellent teammate and has the talent to move on to the NCAA at King’s College. I look forward to watching his development in the upcoming seasons and wish him all the best in the future.”

An alumnus of the Don Mills Flyers U18-AAA program, D’Alessandro was selected in the first round, 12th Overall by the Kitchener Rangers in the 2019 OHL U18 Priority Selection Draft. D’Alessandro spent 2019-2020 season with the Brampton Bombers in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) before landing with the Caledon Admirals of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) for the next two seasons. During the off-season, D’Alessandro was acquired by the Navan Grads.

Located in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the Monarchs compete in the NCAA Division III United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) under head coach Tom Seravalli.
