NAVAN GRADS DANNY MARKHAM COMMITS TO WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY
Navan, ON – The Navan Grads Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce that 2004-born forward Danny Markham has committed to Wesleyan University for the 2024-2025 season.
The Winchester, MA native signed with the Navan Grads during the off-season after spending the previous seasons at Belmont Hill School in the New England Prep School Hockey League
Markham made a smooth transition in his first season with the Navan Grads registering 10 goals, 20 assists and 30 points in 48 games played during the regular season; his competitiveness and ability to play in all situations played an important role during the playoffs and helped the Grads capture their 1st CCHL Bogart Cup Championship this past season.
General Manager Marty Abrams said, “Our program is very proud of Danny’s commitment. He was a tremendous asset to our group and is an excellent teammate. His hard work and dedication has paid off and we all look forward to watch his development next season.”
