Navan defeated Renfrew 4-2 in a tightly contested game. After a scoreless first period, Navan opened the scoring early in the second with Johnson’s goal, followed by Renfrew’s Osipenko responding to tie the game. Navan regained the lead with Pedersen’s goal later in the period. The third period saw Navan extend their lead with a quick goal from Holmes, and Renfrew answered with Protopapas’ goal. In the final minute, Johnson sealed the win for Navan with an empty-net goal. Despite Renfrew’s strong effort, including 35 saves from Kurtiak, they couldn’t overcome Navan’s offensive push, with Gagne stopping 26 shots. Both teams struggled on the power play, finishing 0 for 3 (Renfrew) and 0 for 2 (Navan).
