Source for Sports Performers of the Month Announced- December 2024
Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the Source for Sports Performers of the month for December.
Loic Prud’homme of the Carleton Place Canadians is the Skater of the Month, Tomas Gagne of the Navan Grads earned Goaltender of the Month, while Camden McCuaig of the Cornwall Colts received Rookie of the Month.
Skater of the Month | Loic Prud’homme
The 2004 born Ottawa, ON native is in his third season in the CCHL and has emerged as one of the fore runners for points in the league, ranking in the top 10. His leadership and hardwork is evident in his play. In December Prud’homme had 8 goals and 7 assists in 8 games.
Goaltender of the Month | Tomas Gagne
The 2005 born Matane, QC native is in his first season in the CCHL and has been solid in the net all season. In December, Gagne put up note worthy numbers with a 0.922 save % and 2.63 GAA with 6 wins. He currently sits 6th for GAA and 4th for SV% in the league.
Rookie of the Month | Camden McCuaig
The 2008 born Williamstown, ON native currently sits in the top 3 for points and goals for rookies in the league. In December, McCuaig had 6 goals and 1 assist in 7 games played. The 16 year old is quickly making his mark on the league.
