"A high-end goal scorer Matthew Buckley is as exciting as they come on the ice, able to create highlight goals in a mere matter of seconds. A pure sniper, Buckley can get the puck past anyone. With a cannon of a shot, Buckley exposes goaltenders on a nightly basis. Buckley is able to move with the puck well and create scoring opportunities for himself, as well as moves well off the puck and can convert with authority off of one-timers and tape-to-tape scoring chances. Buckley is a great athlete with tremendous stamina, able to keep moving at a fast pace throughout the entirety of a game.
