Lachaine's big night helped the Grads crush the Colts 6-3

Nick Lachaine had a big night with 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) as the Navan Grads crushed the Cornwall Colts 6-3 in a home game at Ray Friel Community Centre in Navan. The Navan Grads took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Justin Jamer.

Curtis Fabbro did his part, adding 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Jesse Lycan delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists). Ethan Mulhearn chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Harley Michaels had a busy night with 2 assists.

During the first, Lachaine opened the scoring for the Grads with a goal at 2:42 with a helper from Fabbro. Searles put in a goal at 7:58 with helpers from his teammates Hoffman and Trudel.

In the second, Testani finally put the Colts on the board with a goal at 12:31 with assists from his linemates, Mulhearn and Michaels.

During the third period, Mulhearn deposited a goal at 6:22 with helpers from his linemates, Michaels and Routh. Lycan quickly followed with a goal at 8:15 with assists from Lachaine and Hoffman. Jamer scored what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:05 with helpers from his linemates, Drouin and Brazeau. Fabbro quickly followed with a goal at 12:31 with assists from Lycan and Lachaine. Veilleux quickly followed with a goal at 13:11 with a helper from Huntley. Lachaine answered for the Grads with a goal at 18:27 with assists from Fabbro and Lycan.

Navan’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Carter as he stopped 0 of the 3 shots he faced. On the other hand, Carter’s counterpart, Dimatteo, and Cornwall’s defense has seen better nights stopping only 0 of 6 shots.

This win brings the Navan Grads’ record to (3-1-0-0).
