Kitchen Comes up Big in Grads First Win

Brennan Kitchen came up big, stopping 29 of 30 shots throughout the game. The Navan Grads took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Zachary Salloum.

Zachary Salloum did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Jacob Smith delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the second, Reynolds opened the scoring for Navan with a goal at 5:24 with helpers from his teammates Besner and Matton. Salloum quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:42 with helpers from Murray and Smith.

In the third, Locatelli scored a goal at 15:23 with assists from Salloum and Smith. Hunter quickly followed with a goal at 17:00 with helpers from Rowe and Beaton.

Navan’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Kitchen’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. Kitchen’s counterpart, Brooks, also had a big night, managing to stop 29 of 32, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Navan Grads’ record to (1-2-0-0).
