HEO U18 AAA ANNOUNCES 2022-23 SCHEDULE

OTTAWA, ON – HEO U18 AAA is pleased to announce the 2022-23 hockey schedule. The league will be comprised of our original 12 club teams as well as 2 teams from the Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) and 1 team from the Canadian International Hockey Academy (CIHA) who will all play a 42-game regular season schedule.

Opening Day is slated for Saturday September 24th with a 7-game Showcase held at Bell Sensplex in Kanata, ON. The regular season will conclude Monday February 27th.

On the event front, all twelve of our club teams will participate in the 17th Annual Ottawa Senators U18 AAA Showcase at Sensplex from October 13-16. From October 21-23, the Navan Grads, Rockland Nationals, Kemptville 73’s, and Cornwall Colts will take part in the Kingston Clash in YGK. From November 3-6, the Ottawa Junior Senators, Pembroke Lumber Kings, Carleton Place Canadians, and Hawkesbury Hawks will travel to Sudbury to participate in the Big Nickel Major AAA Tournament. Lastly, from December 9-11, the Nepean Raiders, Renfrew Wolves, Brockville Braves, and Smiths Falls Bears will participate in the Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament.

At the conclusion of the regular season there will be a league championship tournament which will include the 3 school teams.

Following the Championship Tournament, the 12 club teams will play in the Telus Qualifier Playoffs as we will determine our representative for the 2023 U18 AAA Central Regional Championships.
