GRADS RE-SIGN FORWARD NOLAN FORSTER

NAVAN, ON – The Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce the re-signing of 2003 born forward Nolan Forster.

Forster is a highly competitive, explosive forward with high hockey IQ and the ability impact the game at both ends of the ice.

The Cambridge, Ontario native signed with the Navan Grads during the COVID-19 shortened season in 2020-2021. As a 16-year-old, Forster suited up for the Cambridge RedHawks in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) where he registered an impressive 58 points (14 goals, 44 assists over 47 games. He finished second in team scoring and added another eight assists during playoffs. Forster’s ability to make plays earned him a spot on the 2019-2020 GOJHL Midwestern All-Rookie Team roster and an opportunity to participate in the GOJHL’s Future Stars Game.

In 2018-2019, Forster was a member of the Toronto Marlboros in the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) and produced 45 points (15 goals, 30 assists) during the Minor Midget AAA season. When the Marlboros advanced to the 2018-2019 OHL Cup, Forster added four points (1 goal, 3 assists) in the team’s five games played. Nolan was selected by the Guelph Storm in the 8th Round of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

His skill and ability to make plays will help our offense moving forward. Having been here last year, he understands what we expect of him and the entire group. We are thrilled to welcome Nolan and his family back to Navan”

Fans can see Forster and the rest of the Grads in action this Saturday, October 9th vs. Carleton Place at the Central Canada Hockey League Annual Showcase at Bell Sensplex in Kanata, Ontario. Puck drop is 4:15PM.
