GRADS ACQUIRE RYAN BURKE FROM ST. MARYS

NAVAN, ON – The Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce the acquisition of 2003 born forward Ryan Burke from the St. Marys Lincolns Jr. B Hockey Club of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL).

Burke was named to the GOJHL Western Conference All-Rookie team this season. As a 16-year-old for the Lincolns, Burke scored 41 points in 50 games.  He was named the Lincolns Rookie of the Year and Most Dedicated Player.

The London, Ontario native was a member of the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs during his Minor Midget AAA season.  Burked registered 62 points in 33 games and was drafted in the 8th round by the Sudbury Wolves in the 2019 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection Draft.

General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “Our program is thrilled to add Ryan and his family to the Grads. He is a highly skilled and intelligent player, capable of playing in all situations. I expect him to make a seamless transition to Junior A hockey this season. I look forward to assisting Ryan develop and achieve his goals while playing in the CCHL.”
