GRADS ACQUIRE VETERAN FORWARD MARK MacPHEE FROM HAWKESBURY

NAVAN, ON – The Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce the acquisition of 2003 forward Mark MacPhee from the Hawkesbury Hawks Jr. A Hockey Club (CCHL).

The Gloucester, Ontario native is a hard to play against, skilled, power-forward that possesses a tremendous work ethic.

In 2019-2020 MacPhee played 53 games as a 16-year-old for the Ottawa Jr. Senators (CCHL) and registered 8 goals, including a game-winner against Navan and 7 assists for 15 points. In 2021-2022 MacPhee split time with Ottawa and Carleton Place; he registered 7 goals, 8 assists and 15 points in 24 games played for the Jr. Senators and 5 goals, 6 assists and 11 points in 24 games played for the Canadians.

General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “Mark is a player we are very familiar with and are very pleased to have him in a Grads uniform. He has tons of experience and is capable of playing in all situations. It is always a great situation when you can add another local player with his ability. A huge welcome to Mark and his family.”

The veteran forward is poised to have a breakout season as he enters his fourth year in the CCHL and is thrilled to be acquired by the Navan Grads, "I'm so excited to be playing in Navan! I've always heard great things about the organization. It's going to be a great year. I can't wait to get the season started!"
