GOALTENDER BEN WEST SIGNS WITH THE GRADS

NAVAN, ON – The Navan Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are proud to announce the signing of 2003 born goaltender Ben West from Compuware 16U (HPHL).

In 2019-20, West posted a 3.40 G.A.A and 0.887% save percentage during the regular season and led Compuware to the HPHL League Finals. In 2018-2019 West was the starting goaltender for the Toronto Marlboros U16-AAA (GTHL); West was an integral part of the Marlies team that finished the season as League Finalists in the Greater Toronto Hockey League and participated in the 2019 OHL Cup.  West was drafted by the Erie Otters in the 10th Round, 190th Overall in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams said, “We are pleased to add Ben and his family to our program. As a young goaltender, he has a tremendous understanding of the position and has an excellent skill set. One of his key attributes is his compete level, he battles on every puck.”
