His work ethic day to day is unmatched. He has developed his game to the point where he is called upon to play in all key situations and is the ultimate 200-foot player. A great teammate, Gabe will no doubt have success at the next level; he won’t settle for anything less. It has been a pleasure to have him in our program the past few years. He has made a huge difference in our group.”

Crete is thrilled to officially sign his commitment to Mercyhurst University and the opportunity to join the Lakers NCAA Division I program in 2023-2024, “I’m excited to further my academic and hockey career at Mercyhurst University.
