Ottawa, ON — The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce the 3 Stars from the first round of the playoffs.
Sebbie Johnson from Navan Grads is named first star, while Ian Vandenberg from Carleton Place Canadians is named second star and Josh O’Connor from Rockland Nationals has been named third star.
First Star | Sebbie Johnson
Sebbie Johnson lead the round in points with 14 (7G, 7A), as well as points/game averaging 2.00. He was a key contributor to the Grads’ success and advancement to the second round.
Second Star | Ian Vandenberg
Ian Vandenberg finished the round on top for goalies in both save percentage (0.928) and goals against average (2.25) after leading the Canadians to a perfect 4-0 record.
Third Star | Josh O’Connor
Josh O’Connor lead defenceman in the round for points/game averaging 1.50 with 6 assists in 4 games played. O’Connor lead the Nationals in average number of minutes played helping lead them to a 4-0 record in the first round.
